Hi Vicki! I am a PHR advocate as well, and share your enthusiasm for electronic health records and personal health records. I am surprised by the number of medical professionals, both doctors and RNs, who are resistant to EMRs. And people who are reluctant due to privacy concerns. But if you look at the Mayo Clinic Health Manager and Kaiser's system, you can see the amazing things EHRs and PHRs can do. I like HealthVault, and use it for my family. It was an Okapi that was the stuffed animal in their house. There are many stories about Burt's terrible driving and how he nearly killed people while driving. I think I have a photo or two that he took of us in the Halevy house. I'll have to look for them. Hope you are all well and not having to work too much or too hard. I am enjoying your blog, V2. It's really fun. "Moral Ambiguity" sounds like a a great book. I like short stories because I can pick them up, read a story and then come back to the next one when I have time. And there's always a twist or two to think about.

I'm glad you were able to finally get your prescription. You should complain to the home office, not that it will do any good. If the drug you needed was an anti-depressant, then the guy should have known that it could be very serious for you to go without. Despite the fact that he is underpaid, doesn't he give a shit about people?
