The pundits are trying to figure out why
Katie Couric isn't getting any viewers. It's very simple: she doesn't have the
gravitas for the serious folks and she isn't cute enough for the fun folks. Oh yeah, and the screen, or whatever, through which they shoot Katie is annoying.

I agree. I think whatever "light fare" they want for morning t.v. didn't translate, although I'm sad at the fate of a woman anchor. I think they lost me when they took 20 lbs. off to make her more attractive in the print ads - did they do that to Dan Rather, too? Good post.
