The End of Cashiers? Cha Ching! 2

I forgot the most annoying thing about Giant's Easy Shop scanner. It has advertising on the devise itself. To get our attention to the small screen, it rings "Cha Ching!" loudly. I tried to turn in it off or down. It didn't have volume control. Imagine everyone in the store carrying one of these devises ringing every few minutes to get you to see the ad for, say, a $1.00 off Minute Maid orange juice. Cha Ching! Cha Ching! Cha Ching! I'm wearing my ear plugs from now on.
