Really. I think I might be the first person to notice this. But last night on the radio, some talk show host compared W's successful presidential campaign with Obama's, implying that you can talk all you want and run a great campaign and then be a bad president. Wierd, but... This was in today's Washington Post, Op-Ed piece Topic A:
Michael Rubin, resident scholar, American Enterprise Institute and adviser to the Coalition Provisional Authority in 2003-04, said
"Obama's words are inspirational, but if anything is to be learned from the Bush administration, it is that leadership must run deeper than rhetoric. Berlin's freedom was won with blood and treasure. It was not secured with withdrawals or unilateral disarmament."
